[Exclusive]: Intel’s Poornima Sampath and Piramal Bain’s Supriya Bhardwaj join Shuva Mandal’s team

Poornima Sampath, Senior Attorney at Intel Capital, has joined Shuva Mandal’s legal team at the Tata Group. She will join Supriya Bhardwaj, who moved to Tata from Piramal Bain in February this year.

It is understood that Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Principal Associate Sayak Maity is also joining Shuva’s team.

Poornima is a 2002 graduate of National Law School of India University, Bangalore. She also holds an LL.M. from Columbia University. She has previously worked at S&R Associates, Amarchand Mangaldas, and Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.

Supriya was Head Legal at Piramal Bain’s Distressed Asset Fund before joining Tata. Prior to Piramal Bain, she was working at Bajaj Finance as National Head – Commercial Lending. She is a 2004 graduate of Government Law College, Mumbai. She has also been in-house counsel with Essar Power and CLP Power.

In January, Aditya Birla (Dubai) General Manager Dhyanesh Sabnis had joined Tata Group. Aravind Balajee from Allen & Overy and Prateek Shroff from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas had also joined the team.
