Juris Corp Litigation Partner Ranjit Shetty resigns to join Udwadia Udeshi & Argus as Equity Partner

Juris Corp Litigation Partner Ranjit Shetty has resigned from the firm and will join Udwadia Udeshi & Argus as an Equity Partner in January 2015, according to sources.

It is understood that Ranjit will replace the two Partners Amol Bavare and Mihir Kamdar, who recently left the firm.

Ranjit, who is a graduate of University of Mumbai, has around 17 years of litigation experience.

Ranjit had joined Juris Corp in April 2012 from Hariani & Co., where he headed the dispute resolution practice for four years. He co-headed the litigation and dispute resolution practice at Juris Corp along with Mustafa Motiwala, who also recently left to join Clasis Law. Before joining Hariani, Ranjit worked at PDS Legal.

Former Udwadia Udeshi & Argus Litigation Partner Amol Bavare has joined Legasis Partners and Associate Partner Mihir Kamdar has joined FTIL as Head Litigation, as reported by Bar & Bench yesterday.

Both Udwadia Udeshi & Argus Managing Partner Krishnava Dutt and Ranjit Shetty were not available for comment at the time of publishing the story.
