Justices Jasmeet Singh, Amit Bansal take oath as Judges of the Delhi High Court

The working strength of Delhi High Court rose to 31 with two news judges, Justices Jasmeet Singh and Amit Bansal taking oath today.

The oath was administered by Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, Justice DN Patel.

The ceremony took place in the Chief Justice's Court, in the presence of the judges of the High Court and the family members of Justices Jasmeet Singh and Amit Bansal.

SWEARING-IN CEREMONY - The High Court of Delhi

Their appointment to High Court was notified by the Central government on February 22, 2021 after it was recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium on August 17,2020.

With the appointment of Justices Singh and Bansal, the present strength of the High Court judges is at 31.

The sanctioned strength of the High Court of Delhi is 60.
