Kelley Drye promotes NLSIU grad Deepak Nambiar to partnership at New York office

Kelley Drye & Warren LLP has promoted Deepak Nambiar to partnership with effect from July 1, 2013. Deepak is based in the firm’s New York office, and is part of the India practice group.

Speaking to Bar & Bench, Deepak said, “I am very humbled by and grateful for this recognition. I look forward to working with our great team of attorneys at Kelley Drye and to continue to provide meaningful legal assistance to our clients.”

Deepak is qualified to practice both in New York and India and advises clients on cross-border transactions involving the U.S. and India.

He focuses his practice on a wide range of general commercial matters, with special emphasis on technology licensing, mergers, acquisitions, and outsourcing transactions.

Deepak is a graduate of National Law School of India University, Bangalore and holds an LL.M from the University of New Hampshire School of Law. He has previously worked as an inhouse counsel for Glaxo SmithKline, India.

Earlier this year, two NLSIU grads Gautam Narasimhan and Savi Hebbur were made partners in Allen & Overy and Linklaters respectively.
