Khaitan’s Competition ED Paku Khan relocates to SFO, firm denies any US office plans

Khaitan & Co’s Competition Executive Director Paku Khan is relocating to USA for personal reasons while he continues to be associated with the firm. Khan had joined Khaitan in December 2011 from Amarchand Mandaldas, where he was Director in the Competition Law team.

Amar Sinhji, the firm’s Executive Director said,

“He will however continue to be associated with the Firm and work on strengthening the Firms current relationships and building new ones with both – companies and law firms in the US.” 

He added,

“The firm is not setting up an office in the US. Paku will also continue to be a member of the firms Competition Practice in India.”

Prior to joining Amarchand, Khan was practicing competition and corporate law as a Senior Solicitor with Irish firm A&L Goodbody.
