Five more Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record pass away from COVID-19

Last month, three AoRs had succumbed to the Coronavirus. The virus had also claimed the lives of former Attorney General and Solicitor General Soli Sorabjee, and Senior Advocates V Shekhar and Anip Sachthey.

Five more Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record (AORs) passed away after getting infected by COVID-19.

They are:

- Shiv Kumar Suri;

- Satya Mitra Garg;

- Mushtaq Ahmad;

- Akshat Goel;

- Neeraj Aarora.

Earlier, three AoRs, Imtiaz Ahmed, B Ramana Murthy and Rishi Jain and advocates Keshav Mohan and Sachin Das had succumbed to the Coronavirus.

The virus had also claimed the lives of former Attorney General and Solicitor General Soli Sorabjee, and Senior Advocates V Shekhar and Anip Sachthey.

Another Senior AoR, ATM Sampath also passed away though it could not be confirmed whether or not he was affected by COVID-19.
