Justice Ashis Kumar Chakraborty of Calcutta High Court passes away

He was appointed an additional judge of Calcutta High Court in October 2014 and was made a permanent judge in October 2016.

Sitting judge of Calcutta High Court, Justice Ashis Kumar Chakraborty passed away today. He was 55 years old.

Justice Chakraborty had gone to Jalpaiguri for circuit Bench when he suffered a heart attack.

He was born in December 1965 and started his legal practice in the year 1993.

He was appointed an additional judge of Calcutta High Court in October 2014 and was made a permanent judge in October 2016.
