[BREAKING] Supreme Court Collegium recommends appointment of 13 new judges to Allahabad High Court

Allahabad High Court currently has 92 judges as against its sanctioned strength of 160, a vacancy position of 68.

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended names of 13 lawyers for appointment as judges of Allahabad High Court.

The decision was taken in a meeting of the Collegium held on August 24.

The 13 lawyers recommended are:

1. Chandra Kumar Rai

2. Shishir Jain

3. Krishan Pahal

4. Sameer Jain

5. Ashutosh Srivastava

6. Subhash Vidyarthi

7. Brij Raj Singh

8. Shree Prakash Singh

9. Vikas Budhwar

10. Vikram D Chauhan

11. Rishad Murtaza

12. Dhruv Mathur, and

13. Vimlendu Tripathi
