M. V. Kini & Co. promotes Principal Associate Tavinder Sidhu to partnership

M. V. Kini & Co., has promoted Principal Associate Tavinder Sidhu to partnership in its Delhi office with effect from April 1, 2013. Tavinder is an Advocate-on-Record and is also admitted to the roll of solicitors of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.

Tavinder has more than nine years of litigation experience. He initally worked as trial lawyer for about four years before shifting his practice to the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court.

Tavinder is now handling the firm’s litigation practice in the Supreme Court. His areas of focus include mercantile, real estate, banking, government contracts/tender laws and labour & employment related matters and dispute resolution.

He is a graduate of the University of Lucknow and initially worked with Manish Kohli & Co. before joining Kini in March 2006.

This takes the total number of partners in the firm to 10. The other Delhi Partners are Sumit Nagpal and Ashish Suman.
