Rajesh Bhardwaj appointed an Additional Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court [Read Notification]

The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended his elevation as an additional judge of the High Court in August this year.

The Central Government has notified the appointment of Rajesh Bhardwaj as an Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, for a period of two years with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.

The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended his elevation as a High Court Judge in August this year.

The latest appointment takes the total strength of the High Court to 56 judges, against a sanctioned strength of 85 judges.
