Luthra bolsters Corporate Practice in Mumbai with SAM’s Jay Parikh

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Corporate Partner Jay Parikh is all set to join Luthra & Luthra in Mumbai.

Confirming Jay Parikh’s joining, Luthra & Luthra Senior Partner Mohit Saraf said,

“Jay will be joining the Firm’s Mumbai office as a Partner in the M&A, Private Equity, and Banking Finance practice. We are very excited about Jay joining the Firm, as he would bring excellent experience and valuable insight and perspective.

We also believe that in the next 24 months, deal flow at the Firm would expand exponentially, and therefore, we are looking at hiring talented lawyers at mid and senior level.”

Parikh joined Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas in May 2015 from Verus.

Parikh had joined Verus in 2012 from Bharucha & Partners along with Dipankar Bandyopadhyay to co-head the corporate practice.

Parikh started his career at the Mumbai office of Amarchand Mangaldas after graduating from NUJS in 2006 and later moved to Bharucha & Partners in 2008.
