S&R Associates has promoted Mohit Gogia to Partnership in its Delhi office taking the total number of partners at the firm to 8. The partnership is effective from June 1, 2014.

Mohit primarily focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investment transactions and general corporate counseling.

Prior to joining S&R in 2008, Mohit was working with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York.

He is a graduate of Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi and completed an LL.M. from New York University School of Law, where he was a recipient of the Dean’s Graduate Award.

In the last round of promotions, that took place in 2012, Bhakta Patnaik and Venkatesh Vijayaraghavan were promoted to partnership.
