Sujatha Balachander has been appointed as Ernst & Young’s General Counsel for the India region.

She has joined Ernst & Young from SBR Legal, a full service law firm she founded in 2015.

She had earlier worked with Luthra & Luthra (now L&L Partners) and Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan.

She is an alumnus of Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi and a commerce graduate from Ethiraj College, Chennai. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Madras University.
