TTA promotes Sonali Mahapatra to partnership

Talwar, Thakore & Associates (TT&A) has promoted Sonali Mahapatra, currently a managing associate at the firm, to partnership. The promotion will take effect from 1 April 2011.

Sonali joined TT&A in 2009 from Linklaters and has since worked with partner Narayan Iyer in the banking & finance practice.

Previously, she has worked with Amarchand Mangaldas after her graduation from the National Law School of India University. Sonali has an LL.M from the Michigan Law School after which she joined Linklaters.

I would like to congratulate Sonali, who brings substantial banking and finance experience to TT&A, on her election to partnership. TT&A now comprises of six partners and 16 associates. 

In November 2009, Narayan Iyer and Kunal Thakore joined TT&A from Linklaters to strengthen the team in India.
