Verus Advocates advised Hyderabad-based Sagar Cements in the sale of its entire stake in the JV, Vicat Sagar Cement to France-based Parficim SAS, an affiliate of Vicat SA, which was advised by MNK Law Offices.

The deal is valued at Rs. 435 crore ($72.3 million), according to VCCircle.

The Verus team was led by Corporate Partner Jay Parikh along with Associates Aastha Khurana, Rashna Jehani and Priyanka Devgan. Partner Krishnayan Sen also advised on the deal.

The MNK Law Offices team was led by Partner Probal Bhaduri along with Associate Kamalika Bhattacharjee.

Sagar Cements had invested Rs. 86 crore for the first phase to take 47 per cent stake in the JV, reports VCCircle.
