In recent years, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles have become a hot topic involving technology, security challenges, rules, and regulations globally.

The Centre of Aviation and Space Laws, West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences and Centre for Research in Air & Space Law, Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai will jointly host the International Conference on Unmanned Aircraft Systems on 30 April 2022.

In recent years, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) or drones have become a hot topic involving technology, security challenges, rules, and regulations globally due to the remarkable improvements and uses in remote sensing and photogrammetry applications.

About the Organizers

The Centre of Aviation and Space Laws (CASL) of the National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata is an academic Centre that intends to explore, analyze and critique the legal developments in the aviation, space and allied industries.

Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai established the Centre for Research in Air & Space Law (CRASL) to engage in policy discourse as a forum for the exchange of ideas on the international law applicable to implementing international air and space law.

The Conference shall be conducted online, through WebEx.

Call for Papers

Please submit a 300-word abstract by 1 March 2022.

Decisions on accepted abstracts will be announced by 8 March 2022.

Authors whose abstracts are accepted shall submit complete articles (4,000 – 6,000 words) by 20 April 2022.

The manuscript may be uploaded in Microsoft Word (‘.doc’ or ‘.docx’) format.

The papers will be selected on a competitive basis. Conference papers may be published in the Indian Review of Air and Space Law.
