After months of uncertainty, the National Law University Mumbai has finally announced its admission procedure.
Students will be admitted via the an online admission test, the Maharashtra National Law University Admission Test, to be held on June 7 this year. The registration process will commence from April 30 and end by May 15.
On offer are the five-year integrated course, and the one-year LL.M course that shall be taught out of a temporary campus at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Chembur, Mumbai. The total number of seats available under the five-year course are 60.
As was reported three weeks ago, the University has been struggling to find its feet. Vice Chancellor BP Panda has been hard pressed to find a suitable land parcel for setting up the university. Even the admission procedure has taken quite some time.
As per an e-mail sent by the University,
The details about the courses, fees structure, minimum qualification for admission, registration of admission test, test centres etc can be noted from the University website: www.nlumumbai.edu.in
As things stand, the website does not contain any details although Dr. Panda indicated that this would be remedied in a few hours time.
