The team from National Law University, Odisha comprising of Shivangi Gupta, Dhruv Tiwari and Abhishek Sarkar won the 5th ILNU All India Moot Court Competition organised by the Institute of Law, Nirma University.

National Law University, Odisha also bagged the awards for the Best Speaker and the Best Memorial.

The team from ITM University, Gurgaon were the runners up.

Elated by the victory, Shivangi Gupta from the team recounts her experience,

“It was really a learning and rewarding experience for us to participate in the ILNU moot. Arguing on Constitutional and Taxation issues before sitting Judges’, members of reputed law firms, advocates of High Courts and Tax Practitioners was an extreme challenge and something we, as a team, will cherish as part of our law school life. Considering the fact that we had to dedicate around 45 days for this event, consciously missing our Mid-Semester examinations in the process, the victory served as redemption for our efforts.”
