IndusLaw, JSA, Tatva lead on Dunzo $28 million fund raise

Dunzo Digital Pvt Ltd, which operates a diversified hyperlocal delivery platform, has raised around $28 million (Rs 204 crore) as part of a new funding round labelled Series E.

Of this sum, $15.65 million has come from Google LLC and LGT Lightstone, which are leading the round. The other investors are: Lightbox, 3L Capital, Moving Capital, Pivot Ventures and Bhoruka Finance Corporation.

Some of the other key investors in Dunzo include Blume Ventures and Aspada among others.

IndusLaw acted for Dunzo and the team was led by Senior Partner Kartik Ganapathy and Partner Rashi Saraf along with Ashwin Krishnan, Nishihi Shah and Nabarun Chandra Ray.

J. Sagar Associates advised Google International LLC and Google Asia Pacific PTE. Ltd. and the team was led by Partner Probir Roy Chowdhury along with Senior Associate Yajas Arvind Setlur and Associate Kavya Katherine Thayil.

Tatva Legal acted for Aspada Investment Company and Lightstone Fund S.A. and the team was led by Partners Manav Nagaraj and Bhargava ks with Senior Associate Junaid Ahmed and Associate Smita Rakshale.

This latest development comes after Dunzo in February raised $11 million (about Rs 78.8 crore) in venture debt from Alteria Capital.

In October last year, Dunzo raised $45 million (Rs 318.58 crore) in a funding round from Google, Lightbox, US-based growth equity firm 3L Capital, and South Korea's STIC Investment & STIC Ventures, reported VCCircle.
