Vama Sundari Investments (Delhi) Private Limited (an investment company of the HCL Group) has formed a joint venture with Foxconn Hon Hai Technology India Mega Development Private Limited for establishment and operation of an outsourced semiconductor assembly and test factory in India.

Khaitan & Co advised Vama Sundari Investments on this transaction. The Firm assisted and advised with reviewing, negotiating and finalising the definitive agreements comprising of the joint venture agreement and the technology license agreement.

The core transaction team consisted of Bharat Anand (Senior Partner), Tanvi Kumar (Partner), Nimisha Trehan (Partner) and Aayush Thapar (Principal Associate) with assistance from the following:
