ThinkLaw advises Astreya on India leg of its acquisition by Cognizant

Cognizant had acquired Astreya, a global IT managed services provider headquartered in San Jose, California.

ThinkLaw, advocates advised and assisted Astreya on the India leg of this acquisition. The Firm provided comprehensive legal support, including review of definitive agreements from an Indian law perspective and assistance with closing and post-closing legal and regulatory activities related to the transaction.

The transaction was led by Ankita Kashyap (Partner), with support from Siddhant Bhargava (Senior Associate), Kaushik Krishnan (Senior Associate), and Siddhant Tewari (Associate).

The acquisition combines Cognizant's global delivery model and AI builder approach with Astreya's extensive expertise in managing complex technology environments for many of the world's largest technology companies, including six of the "Magnificent Seven" hyperscalers.
