Universal Legal advises Veriqus on ₹387 crore fundraise

Veriqus Financial Services Private Limited has raised ₹387 crore from a fundraise led by Norwest, alongside participation from leading family offices.

Universal Legal advised Veriqus and its promoters, Ashish Gumashta and Roshi Jain, on this fundraise. The Firm provided end-to-end legal support on the transaction, including structuring, drafting and negotiation of transaction documentation, and assistance through to closing.

The transaction was led by Rashi Kapoor Mehta (Partner), with Neelkamal Chaudhary (Associate Partner) and Henna Kapadia (Associate Partner).

Preksha Shah (Associate) played a key role in execution of the transaction.

Veriqus, established by Ashish Gumashta and Roshi Jain, offers technology and wealth management solutions tailored for financial advisors and wealth creators.

The Company intends to utilize the new funding to broaden its network of wealth creators, enhance its AI-driven wealth management platform, and expand its reach in Tier II and other rapidly growing cities across India.
