Exclusive: Abhijit Narayan leaves Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer to join Touchstone Partners

Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer's Abhijit Narayan is moving back to India and is set to join Touchstone Partners as an Equity Partner based out of Delhi.

Confirming the move, Touchstone Managing Partner Karam Daulet-Singh said,

“I have known Abhijit for many years now. Cross-border is in the DNA of Touchstone. So when he approached us with a desire to focus on India inbound as well as outbound, we felt it would be a natural fit. We look forward to everything that Abhijit will bring to further strengthen our position as as an important facilitator of such capital flows.”

Narayan is an alumnus of Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi. He earned his LL.M. in Corporate Law from New York University School of Law.

With over 17 years of experience, Narayan has worked at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, Slaughter and May and Hengeler Mueller. He specialises in cross-border private equity and M&A transactions across various sectors.

On his move to Touchstone Partners, Narayan shared,
