Jyoti Maheshwari joins ANM Global as Partner in Corporate, Fintech & Regulatory Advisory

ANM Global has announced the appointment of Jyoti Maheshwari as Partner in its Corporate, Fintech & Regulatory Advisory practice, further strengthening the firm’s capabilities across corporate transactions, financial services regulation and technology-led businesses.

Maheshwari has over 23 years of legal experience spanning private practice and senior in-house leadership. Her corporate and transactional experience spans M&A, private equity and foreign investment, project and structured finance, joint ventures, commercial contracting and general corporate advisory. She has advised on domestic and cross-border transactions across financial services, infrastructure and other regulated sectors, including the $530 million acquisition of Ramky Environ Engineers by KKR India Advisors.

Maheshwari has also developed substantial experience at the intersection of financial regulation and technology. At Hitachi Payment Services, she advised on the acquisition of Writer Business Services’ cash management division and worked closely on regulatory approvals, digital payments, EMI and ONDC-linked business models, SaaS and software licensing arrangements, data-related issues and other technology-led commercial structures. Her wider regulatory experience includes RBI, FEMA, FDI and SEBI matters, digital lending and payments regulation.

Most recently, she served as General Counsel & Head of Compliance at Hitachi Payment Services and Hitachi Cash Management Services, where she led the legal, regulatory and compliance functions and advised the Board and senior management on transactions, regulatory matters and the rollout of fintech and digital products. Earlier in her career, she was associated with firms including Khaitan & Co., Kochhar & Co. and Link Legal India Law Services, where she also led the project finance practice.
