Sarvaank Associates has announced the launch of its Dispute Resolution, Regulatory and Enforcement Practice, marking a strategic expansion of its service offerings.
The new practice will operate in seamless integration with Capstone Legal.
The move significantly expands Sarvaank’s practice, building on its established presence advising private equity and venture capital funds, startups, and founders on complex transactions, investments, and general corporate matters. The new vertical brings together Sarvaank’s deep transactional and corporate expertise with Capstone Legal’s extensive capasbilities in commercial disputes, insolvency, white-collar investigations, regulatory defence and constitutional litigation, creating an integrated offering at the intersection of corporate, regulatory and dispute resolution matters.
This practice will be spearheaded by Practice Co-Heads Vagish Kumar Singh and Ashish Kumar Singh.
Vagish, an NLSIU Gold Medalist, regularly represents clients before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts and the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in complex commercial, regulatory and enforcement matters.
Ashish, an NLSIU alumnus and a Barrister called to the Bar of England and Wales, has appeared in numerous matters before various courts, including the Supreme Court of India. His specialised experience spans commercial disputes, arbitration, banking and finance, insolvency, regulatory matters and white-collar crimes. High Courts have also appointed Ashish as amicus curiae in several cases.
Commenting on the integration, Vagish Kumar Singh, Practice Co-Head, said:
“At Capstone Legal, we have spent over a decade building a premier disputes chamber focused on high-stakes, uncompromising litigation. By combining our specialised courtroom experience with Sarvaank’s strong corporate advisory capabilities, we aim to create a powerful synergy between transactional and dispute-resolution expertise. Taking on this co-leadership role allows us to deliver a comprehensive legal offering that combines strategic corporate advice with effective dispute resolution, enabling businesses to anticipate risks, navigate regulatory complexities and protect their commercial interests from the boardroom to the courtroom.”
Adding to this strategic vision, Ankita Singh, Managing Partner at Sarvaank Associates, stated,
“The value of a transaction lies not only in how it is structured, but also in how effectively it is protected when challenged. In an increasingly complex legal and regulatory environment, businesses need counsel that understands both the commercial realities of a deal and the legal challenges that may follow. This integration brings together deep transactional expertise and strong dispute resolution capabilities, enabling us to provide a more cohesive, forward-looking legal strategy that safeguards business interests, addresses risks proactively and supports our clients through every stage of their business journey.”
The new practice is designed to provide Sarvaank’s clients with a seamless, integrated legal offering across the entire lifecycle of a business, from initial deal structuring and investments to dispute prevention, complex litigation and aggressive enforcement.
