Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Trilegal, TT&A, Hogan Lovells Cadwalader act on Rentomojo ₹1,255 crore IPO

Rentomojo Limited has raised ₹1,255.567 crore from an initial public offering comprising a fresh issue and an offer for sale of up to 28,399,567 equity shares.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Rentomojo and the Promoter Selling Shareholder, Geetansh Bamania, on this IPO.

The transaction was led by Vishal Yaduvanshi (Partner, Regional Co-Head - Capital Markets - North) and Gayathri Ramachandran (Partner), with support from Surya Rajkumar (Senior Associate), Associates Anna Kallivayalil, Zubin Ronnie, Maria Palamattom and Aarya Maheshwari.

Bharath Reddy (Partner), with support from Aarav Prasad (Associate) advised on ESOP schemes.

Lomesh Kiran Nidumuri (Partner, Head – Disputes, South India), with support from Associates Tanisha Kumar and Harshali Sulebhavikar represented and advised company and founder on certain disputes filed during the course of the transaction.

Trilegal advised the selling shareholders, including Accel India IV (Mauritius) Limited, Edelweiss Discovery Fund - Series I, ValueQuest S.C.A.L.E. Fund, Madison India Opportunities V VCC, Chiratae Growth Fund – I , IDG Ventures India Fund III LLC, GMO Payment Gateway Inc, Chiratae Trust, GMO GFF Limited Partnership and eight other selling shareholders, on this IPO.

The transaction was led by Vijay Parthasarathi (Partner) and Vinay Sirohia (Partner), with support from Harshvardhan Lahiri (Senior Associate) and Associates Kohsheen Saraf, Esha Alex, Jahnavi Jayasimha Rao and Vansh Dhoka.

TT&A advised the book-running lead managers: Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited, Axis Capital Limited, and IIFL Capital Services Limited, on this IPO.

The transaction team consists of Abhinav Kumar (Partner), Shubham Sancheti (Managing Associate), Abhishek Iyer (Senior Associate), Associates Daniyal Khan and Harsh Shekhar.

Hogan Lovells Cadwalader served as the international legal counsel to the BRLMs.

Rentomojo is the largest online rental and subscription platform for home furniture and appliances based on live subscribers and amongst leading home furniture and appliance rental platforms in India and is the first online furniture and appliances subscription platform business to file for IPO in India.
