Kerry, the global flavours and consumer foods producer has acquired US giant Cargill’s global flavours business for $ 230 million (approx Rs. 1200 crore) . Allen & Overy acted as the International legal advisors to Cargill..According to the press release, this deal includes flavours business activities in 22 countries and production facilities in three continents. The sale involves the transfer of around 700 employees to Kerry Group.
