15th SILF Turf Cricket League: S&A Law Offices crowned Cup Division Champions

S&A Law Offices posted a total of 161 runs for a loss of 7 wickets before restricting LKS to 159 runs for a loss of 7 wickets

S&A Law Offices was crowned Champions of the Cup Division of the 15th SILF Turf Cricket League on February 4 after beating Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan (LKS) by 2 runs in the summit clash that went down to the last ball.

S&A Law Offices posted a total of 161 runs for a loss of 7 wickets before restricting LKS to 159 runs for a loss of 7 wickets in the final match held at Modern School, Barakhamba Road.

The awards were presented by Dr Lalit Bhasin, President of SILF, Nina Bhasin and Vijay Chaudhary, Chairman of Ram Rattan Group.

Jatin Kapoor of S&A Law Offices was named the Man of the Finals as well as the Man of the Tournament.

Meanwhile, Gaurav Dayal of LKS was named Fighter of the Finals.

The awards for the best fielder and bowler of the tournament were won by LKS' MV Vishal Sunder and Anurag Kapur respectively.

Aman Raj of AZB & Partners took home the best batsman of the tournament award.

Following the conclusion of the league stage, the top two teams from each of the eight pools advanced to the knockout rounds of the Cup Division of the tournament.

Meanwhile, the bottom two teams from each pool earned their place in the knockouts of the Plate Division.

In the Plate Division, Lall & Sethi was crowned champions after beating Dentons Link Legal in the final held on December 16, 2023.

The tournament had Bar & Bench as its digital media partner, with sponsorship from the Ram Rattan Group and Hamdard Safi.
