5.1 million cases pending before High Courts, 34.47 million cases pending before subordinate courts: Centre
The Allahabad High Court tops with a pendency of 7,46,677 cases before it, followed by the High Courts of Punjab and Haryana, Madras, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
There are over 5 million or over 55 lakh cases pending before High Courts across the country as on September 16, 2020, it was disclosed in Parliament today.
