Allahabad High Court notice on plea to restrain Waseem Rizvi from giving disputed religious speeches

A Division bench comprising Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal and Justice Piyush Agarwal issued notice to the Uttar Pradesh government and Waseem Rizvi, and posted the matter for further hearing on February 2022.

The Allahabad High Court recently sought the response of former Shia Waqf board chairman Waseem Rizvi (now Jitendra Singh Tyagi) on a plea to refrain him from giving disputed religious statements regarding Islam and Quran on social media platforms or electronic media.
