Amarchand Mangaldas Suresh A. Shroff dissolution pushed back to April 30

The dissolution of the country’s largest law firm, Amarchand Mangaldas Suresh A. Shroff, has been pushed to April 30. Bar & Bench had yesterday reported that the firm was likely to be dissolved today, followed by the emergence of two new partnerships – Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas on Akshay Trithiya (Tuesday), which is considered an auspicious day.

It is understood that the documentation could not be finalised today, because of which the dissolution has been pushed back.

As reported earlier, the Bombay High Court had also granted the Shroff brothers time till April 30 to file the mediation report although the Shroffs had asked for time till April 20.
