The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the transfer of Chief Justice Pankaj Mithal from the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh to the Rajasthan High Court..A resolution to this effect was passed by the Collegium headed by Chief Justice of India UU Lalit. .Justice Mithal was born in 1961. He graduated in from Allahabad University in 1982 and secured an L.L.B. from Meerut College in 1985.He enrolled as an advocate in 1985 and practised in the Allahabad High Court till he was elevated as an additional judge in 2006.
