Centre clears appointment of 3 judicial officers as judges of Chhattisgarh High Court

The appointment was made pursuant to a recommendation made by the Supreme Court Collegium on August 18.

The Central government on Tuesday cleared the appointment of three judicial officers as judges of the Chhattisgarh High Court.

The three names persons appointed are:

(i) Santosh Sharma

(ii) Sushma Sawant

(iii) Sudhir Kumar

The development was announced by Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal on X.

The appointment was made pursuant to a recommendation made by the Supreme Court Collegium on August 18.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the Constitution of India, in consultation with Chief Justice of India, the President is pleased to appoint the following Advocate/Judicial Officers as Judges / Additional Judges in the High Courts:- pic.twitter.com/CMrkgW4FzQ
