The Supreme Court Collegium on Wednesday recommended the elevation of seven District Judges as judges of the Madhya Pradesh High Court..The seven names recommended are:- Roopesh Chandra Varshney;- Anuradha Shukla; - Sanjeev Sudhakar Kalgaonkar;- Prem Narayan Singh; - Achal Kumar Paliwal;- Hirdesh; and - Avnindra Kumar Singh..According to the Collegium resolution published on the website of the top court, on November 23, 2022, the Chief Justice of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh recommended the elevation of the above seven judicial officers as Judges of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh in consultation with his two senior-most colleagues. The Chief Minister and the Governor of the State of Madhya Pradesh also endorsed the recommendations.
