L&L Partner Damini Bhalla joins Zomato as General Counsel

L&L Partner Damini Bhalla, who had recently resigned from the firm, is joining Zomato as General Counsel.

Zomato has hired Bhalla as its new General Counsel ahead of a planned public listing of its shares, as reported by ET.

Damini is a 2005 graduate of NALSAR, Hyderabad. She started her career in the Mumbai office of Luthra & Luthra. She focuses on M&A and Private Equity transactions.

Commenting on Bhalla's decision to leave the firm, L&L Managing Partner Rajiv Luthra said,

“A home grown lawyer since 2005....NALSAR’s Damini has, of course, been an asset to the Firm and we are, of course, sorry to see her go!! We wish her the Best in all her future endeavours...and hope our paths cross again.”
