Former AZB Partner Madhurima Mukherjee to work with JSA as Senior Consultant and also act as IDIA Chief Mentor

Former AZB & Partners Capital Markets Partner Madhurima Mukherjee has agreed to work as Senior Consultant - Capital Markets at J. Sagar Associates to augment and further strengthen the firm’s capital markets team.

Commenting on this development, JSA Joint Managing Partners Amit Kapur and Vivek Chandy said,

In April this year, Madhurima had resigned from AZB & Partners.

She is a graduate of National Law School of India University and has almost 25 years of experience in the legal profession. Prior to AZB & Partners, she has worked at L&L Partners (Luthra & Luthra Law Offices) and Amarchand Mangaldas (erstwhile).

IDIA Chief Mentor

Madhurima Mukherjee will also be supporting IDIA as Chief Mentor. She has been closely involved with IDIA and worked alongside IDIA Founder, (late) Prof. (Dr.) Shamnad Basheer.

"She will use her knowledge and experience to help our trustees and team to structure IDIA projects and vision. Madhurima will undertake this role alongside her independent legal practice and other philanthropic initiatives", as per the IDIA press release.
