JSA's Saurabh Sharma joins SPEC Finance as Chief Legal Officer

Saurabh Sharma has joined SPEC Finance IFSC Private Limited as Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel.

Sharma is a 2011 graduate of Gujarat National Law University, where he also serves as a visiting faculty member. He is also a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

With over 15 years of experience, Sharma's expertise is in General Corporate law, involving high-stakes M&A transactions, cross-border transactions, joint ventures, private placement offerings, business transfers, and reorganisations (onshore and offshore).

Prior to joining SPEC Finance, Sharma was a Partner at JSA. He has also held positions at law firms such as Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and IndusLaw. Joining SPEC Finance also marks his return to in-house counsel roles.
