Commenting on the expansion, Gagan Anand, Managing Partner, Legacy Law Offices, said,

“We do not view equity, debt, Mainboard and SME mandates as isolated practices. Our objective is to offer clients and merchant bankers an integrated capital-markets platform capable of supporting transactions throughout their lifecycle, irrespective of the segment in which they originate.

Pradyun joined the firm as a specialist construction and infrastructure lawyer and was subsequently trained under the guidance of Co-Managing Partner Shalini Munjal and Partner Amarendra Gogoi. Over the past 24 months, he supported select capital-markets mandates after the barrage of mandates we received pursuant to the success of EMS Ltd and Vibhor Steel Tubes Ltd’s Mainboard IPOs, handled by Shalini Munjal and Amarendra Gogoi, and helped maintain continuity during the firm’s transition from a broad-based General Corporate practice to distinct, specialist transactional verticals.

With that transition now substantially complete, the next phase of our growth requires a different composition of talent. We required a combination of senior home-grown lawyers with institutional knowledge of the firm and practitioners whose careers, experience and market profiles have been principally built across equity and debt capital markets. In parallel, we have separately expanded our Infrastructure and General Corporate practices through dedicated hires.

Pradyun’s departure therefore comes at a natural point in the evolution of both the practice and his own professional trajectory. We thank him for his contribution during this transitional period and wish him well in his future endeavours.

Surbhi brings extensive and wholly dedicated transactional experience across equity, debt and finance, while Shivanshi adds valuable and niche exchange-side regulatory and compliance experience. Their appointments, together with the wider team expansion, materially strengthens our ability to advise on sophisticated mandates at scale. We are delighted to welcome them to the firm.”

Commenting on the expansion, Naman Anand, Counsel at Legacy Law Offices, said,

“These appointments reflect a well-considered investment in the depth and breadth of our Capital Markets practice. Having established a substantial presence in the SME IPO market (2nd largest market volume in India for H1CY26) while continuing to expand our Mainboard, debt and broader securities work, our next phase is focused on building the institutional capacity required for larger, more complex and strategically significant transactions."
