Timothy Franklyn joins Dentons Link Legal as Partner in Capital Markets practice

Timothy Franklyn has joined Dentons Link Legal as a Partner in Capital Markets practice in Bengaluru.

Franklyn has over two decades of expertise in advising on complex domestic and international capital markets and corporate finance deals. His extensive experience includes IPOs, QIPs, rights issues, high-yield bonds, convertible bonds, medium-term note programs, and Rule 144A/Regulation S offerings.

Fraklyn has spent more than 10 years with leading international law firms, including A&O Shearman and DLA Piper, followed by seven years at Tatva Legal, a year as a Deputy Managing Partner at Fox & Mandal and a brief stint at K Law.

Franklyn holds an LL.M. from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is qualified as an advocate in India as well as a solicitor in England and Wales. In 2020, he was selected as an Obama Scholar at Columbia University. He is also the Founder of the Bengaluru School of Law and Justice (SoLJ).

Commenting on his appointment, Executive Chairman Atul Sharma and Managing Partners Nusrat Hassan and Anand Srivastava said, in a joint statement,
