Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Neha Mittal at the Rouse Avenue Court on Monday issued notice to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Bansuri Swaraj on a defamation suit filed b Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Satyendar Jain..Jain moved the Court contending that Swaraj in a televised interview telecast on October 5, 2023, had made false statements claiming that ₹3 crores, 1.8 kilograms of gold, and 133 gold coins were recovered from Jain's residence.Jain also claimed that Swaraj had defamed him by calling him “corrupt” and “fraud”.These statements were made with regards to raids conducted by Enforcement Directorate (ED) at his residence. He stated that Swaraj's interview was broadcast on media networks and also on social media. The Court issued notice to Swaraj and listed the matter next for hearing on December 20 for starting pre-summoning evidence of Jain. .Advocates Rajath Bhardwaj, Mohd.
