Delhi HC directs Delhi Police Commissioner to issue circular on registration of Zero FIR by Police Stations

The Delhi High Court has directed the Commissioner of Police, Delhi to issue a circular/Standing order to all the Police Stations in the city to lodge a Zero FIR when they receive a complaint of cognizable offence but the offence has occurred in the jurisdiction of any other Police Station. The same shall, thereafter, be transferred to the concerned Police Station, the Court has stated.
