Delhi High Court allows Ashneer Grover and Madhuri Jain Grover to travel abroad

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday allowed businessman Ashneer Grover and his wife Madhuri Jain Grover to travel to the United States. .Justice Subramonium Prasad said that from May 26 to June 12, Ashneer Grover can travel to US and after he comes back, Madhuri Grover can travel from June 15.The Court also asked the Delhi Police to give its suggestions in writing on what conditions need to be imposed on the Grovers to ensure that they come back to India. "You give us the conditions by Friday, we will include that in the order," Justice Prasad said..The Court passed the order while dealing with Grovers' plea to travel to the US. Madhuri Jain Grover was the company’s head of operations.They left the company in early 2022. In December 2022, BharatPe lodged a complaint against the couple and in May 2023, the EOW registered an FIR against them. The FIR alleges offences of cheating, criminal breach of trust as well as forgery and criminal conspiracy under the Indian Penal Code.
