Delhi High Court judge Justice Purushaindra Kumar Kaurav to head UAPA Tribunal on SIMI ban extension

Justice Purushaindra Kumar Kaurav of Delhi High Court has been nominated as the Presiding Officer of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Tribunal to adjudicate whether there is sufficient cause for declaring Students' Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) an ‘unlawful association’ under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
