Delhi High Court orders CISF to amend rules in 6 months to allow women to join as constables, drivers

The Court passed the order after noting that the CISF had stated in May 2023 that it will amend its rules but had not made any changes even after six months.

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday directed the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) to amend its rules within six months to allow women to join the force as constable/driver and driver-cum-pump operator [Kush Kalra v Union of India & Ors].
