Delhi High Court refuses to initiate contempt of court proceedings against man who didn't pay salary of child's nanny

Single-judge Justice Subramonium Prasad was hearing a wife's petition claiming that her husband had wilfully disobeyed the orders of a Family Court that had ordered him to provide all amenities to her.

The Delhi High Court recently refused to initiate civil contempt of court proceedings against a husband, who refused to pay salary to the nanny appointed to look after his only son, who is presently in the custody of his estranged wife [Kinri Dhir vs Veer Singh].
