Delhi High Court seeks Delhi government response on plea to make 42 commercial courts functional in national capital

The Court asked the respondents to inform it about the status with respect to creation of infrastructure for setting up of these additional courts and the availability of court rooms as well as judicial officers.

The Delhi High Court on Monday issued notice to the Delhi government and to the High Court's administrative side on a public interest litigation (PIL) petition seeking setting up of 42 commercial courts in the national capital [Amit Sahni v High Court of Delhi and Ors].
