Delhi riots: Delhi High Court directs police to preserve case diaries in case against Devangana Kalita
A trial court had earlier declined to secure the case diaries, saying that the statements recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) are not even a substantive part of evidence.
