[COVID-19] Do not use saliva to affix court fee stamps: District & Sessions Judge (HQ), Delhi directs all

With a view to contain COVID-19 outbreak, the Office of District & Sessions Judge (HQ), Delhi has directed all parties concerned to not use saliva while affixing court fee stamps.

Lawyers/Munshis/Litigants/Naib Courts/ Police Officials may be asked through court staff not to use saliva while affixing court fee stamps on the application/petition and evelopes containing summons/notices etc.

Officials have also been directed to not use saliva while doing the pagination of files.

The Circular further directs the court staff to encourage lawyers to instead, use plastic sponge damper pad while inspecting the judicial files.

It is impressed upon all concerned that above directions may be complied seriously, the Circular states.
