Driving slow but recklessly amounts to 'rash and negligent driving': Kerala High Court

The High Court was informed that rash and negligent driving of tractors are used for transportation of goods at Sabarimala through the trekking path, causing threat to the safety of the pilgrims.

The Kerala High Court on Friday held that driving vehicle in a reckless and negligent manner even if it is done at a low speed, would still amount to 'rash and negligent driving' under Section 279 of the Indian Penal Code.
