[Hijab Row] Interim order against wearing religious garments confined to students only: Karnataka High Court clarifies

This clarification was made after a lawyer pointed out to the Court today that teachers are being forced to remove their headscarves.

The Karnataka High Court on Wednesday orally clarified that its interim order of February 10 against wearing hijab, saffron shawls (bhagwa) or use any religious flags while attending classes in Karnataka colleges which have a prescribed uniform, is applicable only to students and not teachers.
